Automotive Safety Platform

ISO 26262 ASIL D zonal vehicle platform with 7 ECUs, full safety lifecycle, AUTOSAR-like BSW, and quality workflow traceability.

  • Targeting ISO 26262 ASIL D with HARA, safety goals, FMEA, and bidirectional traceability in progress
  • Working toward ASPICE CL2 with requirements, architecture, verification, and configuration management
  • AUTOSAR-like BSW with E2E protection, MISRA C, and SIL-in-the-Loop testing on Docker + real hardware

Project 2

foxBMS Battery Management — POSIX SIL

Eclipse foxBMS 2 ported to Linux x86-64 via SocketCAN — real BMS state machine, fault injection framework with 2,005 ASIL-D test cases, and full ASPICE CL2 documentation.

  • Real foxBMS diag.c with threshold counters — OV 585ms, OC 116ms detection. Not stubs, the actual algorithm
  • 2,005 fault injection tests across 11 ISO 26262 Part 5 methods, SWE.5 + SWE.6 test levels, 29/31 PASS
  • Full ASPICE CL2: 35 documents from MAN.3 to SUP.10, plus ISO 26262 Parts 3-9 (HARA, FMEA, FTTI)

Taktflow OpenSOVD — Eclipse SDV Diagnostic Stack

Zonal SOVD diagnostic stack (ASAM SOVD v1.1 / ISO 17978-3) with DFM, Gateway, Server, and CDA bridge — from REST API to physical ECU, aligned with Eclipse S-CORE v1.0.

  • Phase 5 hardware-in-the-loop proven: SOVD REST down to physical STM32G474 + TMS570 ECUs over CAN, public live SIL API, 5,680 unit tests, ISO 17978 + 20078 conformance suites green
  • Edge-to-cloud stack: Pi gateway on physical CAN, laptop HPC tier (CDA + Server + Gateway + DFM), live AWS IoT Core telemetry, Prometheus + Grafana observability
  • 20 documented use cases, 39 ADRs, SvelteKit observer dashboard with mTLS — tracking Eclipse OpenSOVD upstream on an absorb-and-align cadence

Project 4 · Open Source

Signal-to-SWC Tool

Strict, fail-closed DBC-to-AUTOSAR ARXML conversion driven by explicit Signal-to-SWC mappings — with deterministic outputs and no name-derived fallback.

  • Validates DBC, software-component model, mapping, and optional parity profile before generating output
  • Produces AUTOSAR ARXML, documented assumptions, and an exact parity report with repeatable bytes
  • Apache-2.0 licensed Python CLI with synthetic examples, tested wheels, and Python 3.11–3.13 CI
